Newsletter #5: Join Our Fundraising Kick-Off Meeting

Council Discussions Are Moving Forward

We wanted to share some positive news – our team met with the Council’s Economic Development team last week to walk through our proposals for preserving and operating the Prince of Wales Theatre. The meeting was both productive and encouraging, with genuine engagement around our vision for how the theatre can continue to serve our community.

While we’re still awaiting the Council’s formal decision on their preferred partner, these discussions represent another step forward. We’re doing everything we can to encourage a timely decision, as we know uncertainty helps nobody.

Your Support Is Still Crucial

Please remember – despite positive progress, this isn’t a done deal yet. Your continued support remains absolutely vital.

One of the most effective actions you can take right now is to contact your local district councillor to express your support for our proposals. We’ve made this straightforward with a template letter available on our website that you can either print and post or send via email.
