Behind the Scenes Progress
We’ve been working tirelessly to lay the groundwork for our community-led initiative. Our team is currently completing all the necessary paperwork and taking critical steps to establish our new charity.
Positive Council Engagement
We recently had a positive meeting with Cannock Chase District Council executives to discuss key elements of our plan that has helped steer our next steps. The council has also provided reassurances of their support for our plan to ensure the theatre’s future.
Central Government Support
We’re grateful to have the support of our local MP, Josh Newbury, who has been advocating for the theatre. He has raised our cause multiple times in Parliament, including speaking in the chamber four times and meeting with ministers closely linked to potential funding sources, such as the Levelling Up Fund.
