GoFundMe Campaign Now Live!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our official GoFundMe campaign to save the Prince of Wales Theatre! After months of preparation and thanks to your overwhelming support, we’ve taken this crucial next step toward securing our beloved theatre’s future.
Our target is ambitious: £150,000 to support the theatre’s transition to community ownership and ensure this vital cultural asset continues to serve Cannock Chase for generations to come.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal. The campaign has already raised over £1,000 in its first hour – a tremendous start that demonstrates just how much this theatre means to our community.
Please share the campaign with friends, family, and on social media using #SaveOurTheatre to help spread the word. Together, we can make this happen!

See You at Tonight’s Final Curtain Call!
Several of our trustees will be attending tonight’s sold out final performance by local amateur dramatic societies. This poignant occasion marks the last amdram production before the theatre’s scheduled closure.
Look out for us in the foyer after the show – we would love to chat with you about our campaign progress, answer any questions, or simply share memories of this wonderful venue.
The support from our local amateur dramatic societies has been phenomenal, and tonight’s performance is a powerful reminder of exactly what we’re fighting to preserve.
Thank You
Your continued support gives us hope and determination. From petition signatures to donations, from sharing posts to attending meetings – every action helps build momentum for our campaign.
The Prince of Wales Theatre has been the heart of Cannock’s cultural life for 40 years. With your help, we’ll ensure it continues to inspire, entertain, and unite our community for decades to come.
Together, we can #SaveOurTheatre
